A mortgage broker performs various roles. As you might assume, the main one is that we arrange mortgages – that’s our bread and butter. However, we also help with all other aspects of buying homes, such as instructing conveyancers, arranging surveys and ensuring you get the right protection in place.
We ensure that people get the right mortgage at the right time on the right terms, so it’s affordable and sustainable and they get the most appropriate deal for their circumstances.
People often overlook all the other things we do, which can sometimes be more important. For example, we coach clients on making an offer on a property and ensure that all the documentation is correct when applying for a mortgage. We also always discuss budgets to ensure that any mortgages and insurance we recommend are affordable.
